    How old is the book if the article does not mention Houdini or Rybka?
    Are people still live in the era of the Kasparov - Deep Blue match?

      It's not a book on chess - it's on technology. Maybe one chapter is devoted to chess.

        A true technology - steel and some soft + Magnus as a kibitzer (was it in the Hart House CC LOL

        At the end Kramnik discussed possibilities of the machine - a simul in the TOWN against players on thousands boards :)

          What I would like to see is a simul game done by the current strongest engine against every single human over 2700, if we needed to show how inferior we are to the machines in this fascinating activity, this would be the way to do it.
          University and Chess, a difficult mix.
