Need written records of the vote with the proper notification of the time and place it was held.

If you are referring to the governors vote, it was a non-binding on the executive straw poll. You will be able to see it and the debate yourself once you are confirmed as a governor at the time of the AGM. With regard to the deliberations of the board they were in a series of emails, telephone and skype conversations and in some cases face to face communications between members of the board.

I've heard that there was a straw vote, a discussion, etc... To avoid further embarrassment please confirm publicly that this so-called endorsement is null and void.

Actually, there was also a vote for Al Gore, but that was later discovered to have a 'hanging chad'.

But seriously, what would have been the procedure if the one governor who voted to vote for but not endorse Gary had instead voted to endorse Gary? That would have created an 8 - 8 tie between endorsing Gary or endorsing Kirsan (quite a polarization).

After polling the governors and engaging in more than twenty pages worth of discussion with the voting members the decision was made to endorse Kirsan in the FIDE election. This is consistent with the governors vote

Since the Kasparov camp already knows the results perhaps we should.

In the President's poll here there was only 1 vote for Ilumzhinov and almost 30 for Kasparov, yet the President insists that he had Governors' and Executives' vote to endorse Ilumzhinov.
I challenge Governors and Executives to come out of hiding and confirm when and how they voted. If indeed most of them voted for Ilumzhinov, they've neglected what majority of CFC's Membership wanted.

There was indeed a vote by the CFC governors. As pointed out earlier, there was a lot of discussion, with arguments and additionnal details for both sides. I don't know if the executive plan to make public the results. In any case, the vote was just to give an idea to the executive of what the governors were thinking. They then decided to make their own decision, but were not in any way binded to the results.

Since the Kasparov camp already knows the results perhaps we should.

This "endorsement" SMELLS after President's own poll here showed that Gary had almost 30 votes and Kirsan only 1, however don't forget that our President will do whatever is in the best interests of Canadian chess! Could anyone here explain it to me!

For a moderator, you are not very even handed and are quick to threaten people you don't agree with. There is nothing that exceeds fair comment in the post you criticize. Maybe you should follow a policy of not being the moderator for threads that you care about.

Abuse, or encouraging abuse, is out of bounds as far as I'm concerned. I'd rather nip it in the bud than have to disentangle an ugly mess.

Your suggestion, however, is a good one. I may just do that.
