    Prizes ?

It would be nice to know the prizes - at least in the top section.
It is not easy to figure them out: Hort Sytem, Armageddon tiebreak (I can't see it mentioned in the "INFORMATION" web page of the tournament) etc.

    Thank you.

      Re : Prizes ?

We have massive ties in some sections (like section B) and we want to be completly sure of the prizes before posting them. Tiviakov won the Armageddon tiebreaks, as I mentioned yesterday, which was only for the title and the name on the Molson Cup. He also had the best tiebreaks and won $3200 (if I remember well). We only gave the prizes for the winners in each section yesterday, and will mail and publish all the other prizes this week (hopefully today or tomorrow).

This thread is "unstuck". Congrats to the FQE and all the volunteers who made the event such a success.

It was published Monday on both the tournament website and the FQE website.

How about the Mini-Coc. Who won the tournament? Nicholas Vettese I am guessing won it easily.

Nicolas Vettese was playing in section B and lost a game, which puts him at 3/4.
Six players split the prizes with 3.5.

We posted it on the tournament website last Friday, but it seems like it may have been overwritten when we added the other prizes... I'll look into that.

There is a mistake in the awarding of the prizes. I was in section C. My FQE rating is 1872 so I should have been awarded part of the under 1900 prize. As I understand, the FQE rating should be used for Quebec residents.
