Wouldn't it make sense to state WHO got the 110 and WHO got 61?
Not everyone would presume to know your preferences in this election.

Thanks, I made some changes and included results from 2006, 2010 and today.

Now that that's settled, what's the word on when and how the CFC is to receive the alleged $80k? :)

We have eight tournaments to organize.

All eight of them are norm tournaments. Two per year.

"Kasparov started this campaign as a BIG underdog and started to alienate virtually every country that might have otherwise voted against Kirsan. Europe was lost to Kasparov months ago when he insulted Georgia’s bid for the 2018 Olympiad! And one could not trust a single word that appeared on Kasparov’s campaign site with regards to vote counts and endorsements." - Kevin Spraggett today on his blog

Kirsan has just won his re-election for the next term!

Kasparov needed to flip 25 votes.

I had to entertain the possibility of that outcome but it did not seem very likely. We can now return to our regularly scheduled bickering secure in the knowledge that Kirsan won the election on every continent contrary to the predictions of the Kasparov campaign site.

I suspect that Kasparov, like a lot of chess players, has difficulty dealing with the lack of precision in the world.

On the chess board, the rules are clear, everything is in nice straight lines, your opponent is clear, your goal is clear. The world is nothing like that. Not at all.

I hope all these norm tournaments won't "conflict" with Canadian Open, Quebec Open, Edmonton International and Calgary International.

Also junior tournaments (with "cereal box" titles) shouldn't count.

How about character? Is that important? In the last 25 years I witnessed many "one of the greatest minds" in politics bringing only disaster. Because they lacked in character.
The choice was simple and principled - between a divider and a uniter.
