Guess who's 61 today. Or 22,281 the way Marcus Aurelius and I count birthdays (:

Perhaps the chess community can mount a campaign to see Larry's name added to:

Happy birthday, Larry! Just 4 more years to receipt of your OAS (:

I do rather like the number 22,282 (:

And since Larry was born on a Friday, the day does take on added significance (:

As to the day of one's birth, there's always the droll 19th century nursery rhyme:

Monday's child is fair of face,
Tuesday's child is full of grace,
Wednesday's child is full of woe,
Thursday's child has far to go,
Friday's child is loving and giving,
Saturday's child works hard for a living,
But the child who is born on the Sabbath Day
Is bonny and blithe and good and gay.

The fastest growing 'religion' is atheism so for many there is no Sabbath (:

In Croatian Saturday and Sabbath are translated to Subota and Subote respectively. It used to confuse me when people said Sunday was the Sabbath as it was like saying that Sunday is Saturday.

I don't think that is quite correct. Atheism has suffered some setbacks in the last 24 years or so mainly the fall of communism around the world and more recently moves to more freedom of religion in China. By most serious statistics atheism is in decline around the globe. It doesn't make the top 12 in any list of growth and there are many of them out there.

Thanks to all that have taken the time to wish me a happy birthday (Except the 60 commercial folks like my car dealership...e-mails started coming in at 12:01 am!!)...I never thought I would make it to this ripe age :) I just renewed my passport for 10 years...so I am now a believer in the future :). Today I am at home enjoying some great music...even though you may not speak or understand French...I want to share this with all of you: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lRv3xmpfZ8o

Take the time to enjoy it please...
