  • Ottawa Players Finish in a Three Way Tie at the Kingston Open

Carleton University students Ben Kellar and Curtis Barlow Wilkes along with the always dangerous Danail Donev shared victory at the Kingston Open this year, each scoring 4.0/5.0. Many thanks to all who battled challenging weather conditions and made the effort to play. The event experienced a 33% increase in attendance over last year and 45% of the field received prizes. Of those prizes, 89% of them were in excess of the cost of registration. Thanks to Halldor Palsson, the Tournament Director, who had a few issues to deal with and kept the event running smoothly. Thanks to St. Matthews Church for providing a warm naturally lit venue, some players commented on how they enjoyed playing there.
