Here is a picture of Zoltan at his 109^th birthday party today. Notice the chess themed shirt.

I am using both the "insert picture" and "attach file" but can't seem to get the picture in. It tells me "UPLOAD FAILED".

Can anyone help?

Also, who are currently the oldest Canadian male and female? Mr. Sarosy must be close to that distinction, if not holding it.

Has mr. Sarosy played any chess recently? Because that would certainly make him the oldest player to participate in organized chess.

I have used an old photo of Zoltan from the web for practice. Maybe someone can help with shrinking the above photo.

Procedure:

1. Click on "insert image" icon above the text box
2. In the new dialogue box, choose "from url" tab
3. cut and paste the url for the photo into the field
4. unclick the "retrieve remote file and reference locally"
5. click "OK" at the bottom of the dialogue box

I think size is an issue. A smaller file/photo might be uploaded from your computer, but perhaps no photos can be uploaded and it is a question of linking to a photo, as I did, from the web. You can get around this by setting up an account, at PhotoBucket for example, and then providing a link to your photo (after you upload it to Photobucket).

Alas, the URL system does not work because the file is on my computer, not at some URL. Using "FROM COMPUTER" fails to upload the file. Maybe there is a size limit. The file is between 2 and 3 Mb.

Set up a free account for yourself at Photobucket. Upload several versions, if you are able, of several sizes. Then you can link to the image with a url. There are also sites that will modify the size of a file (great for avatars and the like) and Photobucket might actually be one of them.

You can have up to 2 GB of free storage there.

That "title" fails to impress considering that Mr Sarozy is now very close to being the oldest man on Earth. I saw on Facebook (it must be true... :)) that the oldest one is 112.
