Re: Feel the Bern
Neil, this isn't really new. We all suspected Bernie was not getting a fair shake from the DNC. Credit to Donna Brazile for her book shedding light on the shenanigans happening inside the DNC, and for coming clean with Bernie at her first opportunity. Here is some details from a non-Fox news source.Originally posted by Neil Frarey View PostBernie got burnt!
Donna Brazile ... the onetime Clinton confidante, CNN commentator and former interim party DNC boss ... from her soon to be released tell all book:

As you can see, the liberal media is critical of the DNC as well.
Anyway, the Democratic party certainly needs to do some serious soul searching before 2018.
Maybe Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warren can take over the party and steer them in a new direction.

Bernie got burnt!
Donna Brazile ... the onetime Clinton confidante, CNN commentator and former interim party DNC boss ... from her soon to be released tell all book:
“The agreement—signed by Amy Dacey, the former CEO of the DNC, and Robby Mook with a copy to Marc Elias—specified that in exchange for raising money and investing in the DNC, Hillary would control the party’s finances, strategy, and all the money raised,” Brazile wrote. “Her campaign had the right of refusal of who would be the party communications director, and it would make final decisions on all the other staff.”
After taking over, she said she went in search for “evidence of internal corruption that would show that the DNC was rigging the system to throw the primary to Hillary.”
“I had been wondering why it was that I couldn’t write a press release without passing it by Brooklyn,” she wrote. “Well, here was the answer.”
So there it is Bob G., seems like Crooked Hillary [a.k.a. Mrs Bill Clinton] paid big $$$ and bought herself the DNC ... lol!!!

Re: Trump support for Bernie Sanders
I don't quite get you, Garland. The support & opposition to the book in the wikipedia link looks roughly equal to me. Are you assuming the overwhelming majority of the US NRC panel of 16 agreed with all of the committee's conclusions? The link notes that there was at least some dissent on the committee.Originally posted by Garland Best View Post...
Read your wiki link carefully. Most of the reviewers of the study in the link, including the US National Research Council, fault the science involved, noting the correlation is too weak.
...
Political bias involved with the reviewers and/or your links? Who knows. Anyway, the wikipedia entry was about a book title I'd heard of before.

Re: Trump support for Bernie Sanders
I've heard that states with concealed handguns allowed have lower crime rates. Allowing automatic weapons to be purchased by anyone, on the other hand, is just asking for it IMHO. I won't discuss climate change with you since I understand you don't want to discuss that particular topic, even though you keep bringing it up.Originally posted by Bob Gillanders View PostWell, it was 16 other candidates, but then they were all spewing the same idiotic platform: no gun control, tax breaks for the rich, and climate change is a hoax.
Hopefully Trump will destroy the Republican party for decades. Now that would be an accomplishment!

As for Trump's accomplishments, it's easy to be rich when you inherit the family fortune. We aren't sure how much that is, but estimates go as high as 200 million. And that was many years ago, so in todays dollars, billions. Trump tells us he is worth 10 billion, but if you are naive to believe anything he says, go ahead and have another glass of Trump Kool-aid.

By cheating people, and that's it that's all, he has ever done ...ever? No mention of his many accomplishments? He has never done anything but cheat people?
Really? No Trump Tower, nothing about the ratings for his work with the Apprentice ... nothing.
Elizabeth Warren has a problem with being honest.
