At first we thought about using Sonneborn-Berger. According to my calculations without a calculator, Gordon = 25.75, Marinkovic = 20.75, DeKerpel = 21.75.
Then we considered head to head. Gordon = 0.5/2, Marinkovic = 1/1, DeKerpel = 0.5/1.
Then we discussed total wins, Gordon = 5, Marinkovic = 5, DeKerpel = 4.
Total Games with Black, Gordon = 3, Marinkovic = 4, DeKerpel = 3.
After that we visually identified who contained the most mass, Gordon won.
Then we tried largest age, DeKerpel edged out Gordon.
Then we calculated youngest, Marinkovic was clear first there.
Tallest height was Marinkovic who once again held an edge.
The result of Rock, Paper, Scissors: (Gordon = Scissors, DeKerpel = Paper, Marinkovic = Rock) was inconclusive.
The Spin the Bottle tiebreak pointed to the Bar/Restaurent located 50 feet away and co-champions were declared.
The Club Champions are supposed to give a simul against the other club attendees of the Annual General Meeting on May 12. We let our elders have first move so DeKerpel will sprinkle 1.c4, 1.d4, 1.e4 and what ever else he finds fun around the room given his wide opening repertoire. Gordon will play the second move and remember what Marin's books taught him about 1.c4. He will happily play 2.Bg5 on the 1.d4 games and will resign all the 1.e4 games as that is not a real first move. Meanwhile Marinkovic on the 3rd move will be at home with the 1.c4 games and has vowed to play 3.Bc1 on any 1.d4 games.

That's right! i forgot about the simul.

So if you each alternate moves, does that mean if I win I can claim that I beat Dave, Stijn, and Mate, simultaneously? :D

Miles called Kasparov a thousand-eyed monster, but it appears we'll get a three-headed monster in the Simul :) Congrats to all three winners.
