Entry Fee: Before April 15 - $50 per player ** $40/ player for 3+ players from the same school
April 15 - 20 - $75 per player
after April 20 - No registrations will be accepted. Wait for 2017!
Sections:
Beginner - Players rated < 1100 CFC or unrated AND with less than 2 years' tournament experience
Intermediate - Players rated < 1500, who have played on school teams or in tournaments for 2+ years
Championship - Players rated 1500+ or unrated, who have tournament experience and can compete
Prizes:
Individual: Medals and Gift Certificates - top 3 in each section and top 3 in each school grade / group of grades
Team: (3+ players from the same school) Medals and Gift Certificates to the top 3 teams in each section
Combined Team (1+ player in each section from the same school) Medals and Gift Certificates to the top 3 teams
CYCC Qualifier: All players who are Under 18 as of 01/01/2016 and who win 3/6 (Int & Beg) or 2.5 / 5 (Ch)
will qualify for the Canadian Youth Chess Championship (CYCC) 2016

SATURDAY 9:00 Round 4 1:00 pm Round 5 (Intermediate & Beginner) 4:30 pm Round 6 (Int & Beg)
2:30 pm Round 5 (Championship)
8:00 pm Award Ceremony

Students: 4 in a room with 2 double beds - $169 / room / night (incl tax)
3 - $163 / room / night (incl tax)
2 - $157 / room / night (incl tax)
Parking: $10 / day (Friday) ; $8 / day (Saturday) - lot behind UTS.
Equipment: Sets, boards, and clocks are provided by the ONTARIO CHESS ASSOCIATION
and the CHESS INSTITUTE OF CANADA
Please bring your own sets and clocks for practice / skittles.
