My goodbye event @ Pub Chess Toronto - July 13 7PM

Hello everyone, this upcoming Wednesday is the last one before I move to Seattle! Would really like to say goodbye to some of the people in the chess community.
If you can't make it this Wednesday, maybe we can meet beforehand for coffee one of the weekday afternoons. Thank you and will miss you all.



Entry fee: $10 (Includes a drink/food ticket, lecture, tournament & casual play)

Casual Play anytime between 7 - 11 PM.

Females play FREE.

Feel free to ask the organizers for some tips during your casual games!

The point of our meet up is to popularize chess. Chess is known to be a very sophisticated game but we want to show the social and fun aspect of it! Come out, drink/eat, meet new people over the chess board!

Tournament:

Tournament starts at 7:45 PM. There will be no money prizes, the tournament is included in the $10 club fee.

Pub Chess Toronto offers tournaments for fun. We will have a tournament no matter how many people decide to register. The maximum rounds will be 5. There will be the option of two time controls, blitz or rapid. Blitz - 3 minutes + 3 seconds, 5 double-round

Rapid - 8 minutes + 5 seconds, 5 rounds

- 50% off appetizers from 5-8PM

- Wings $5 per 1lb
