I've used that link [that Kerry has noted] over the past few days, and it tells me that "it's not just you", etc. No connection. Nada.

Actually, the exact message when I try to access chess.ca is that the connection has timed out.

Kerry, when I try your links I also get the message that the site is down for all, but I still have it okay.
To answer your earlier questions, I am not on any local network connected directly to the server.
I can get the site easily from 3 different computer and my cell phone. So, unless I'm in some bubble?

It seems everyone is in 1 of 2 camps: NO WAY, or NO PROBLEM.

The Google dns server at 8.8.8.8 indicates that chess.ca = 174.138.200.212 so I don't think it is related to a dns issue.
(I also do not think that the server's IP address was changed recently - I think it was changed several weeks/months ago?)

The chess.ca site is still not working. I am in the USA and I have tried to access the site several times since Wednesday 23 Nov 16 to check ratings and it does not even go to the main page. It is complete down.

Yes, I suspect it is down for almost everyone by now.
Repairs are scheduled for sometime on monday.
