Would the same 8.5" x 5.5" be the same same size you'd prefer for carbonless too?

    Thanks again!
    Hi Neil:

    These are not carbons.

We used to have carbons when SCC kept a database of its members games........but the enthusiasm for this volunteer work waned......so SCC went back to the cheaper normal score sheet.

      Re: Score Sheets

      8.5 x 5.5 is the simplest...since it's the standard 8.5 x 11 cut in two.

        Re: Score Sheets

For large tournaments it can be nice for players to be given a booklet of score sheets, although hard to give a copy to the organizer. Paid for by a sponsor who gets full page ads on the inside and back cover. Can also include a page on the rounds schedule, tournament rules and TDs email and phone number if one has to withdraw. Not as much room for sponsor ad on single scoresheet. I like larger space to write moves, two columns of 25 moves is good but 30 moves is too small.

Nice idea but not very practical for chess players. I can guarantee that only few will have it in the second round.

I'm on vacation. If you still need one when I get bAck I'll send one

I have both 3 and 2 columns of 25 moves laid out. I prefer 2 columns - not too many games go over 50 moves and 3 columns is cramped

              Re: Score Sheets

I can't expand the images from the FQE website (and since prices are mentioned, I won't supply the link), but the FQE uses scoresheets of 100 moves (50 on one side; 50 on the other) for "regular" scoresheets in two columns; 75 moves in three columns for NCR scoresheets. I have no trouble reading the latter, and the players don't tend to write on top of the previous/adjacent move.

You may have to decide whether it's worth printing on both sides if you don't want the NCR version.
