3RD FIDE-CMA FUTURITY 2017
From: April 14-16, 2017
RATED FIDE-CFC
Open to all FIDE rated players as well as players with no FIDE rating but have a CFC rating over 1600 as of April 1, 2017. In order to get a FIDE rating one must play a total of 9 games against FIDE rated players over a 26 month period. We intend on holding these events on a regular basis. It is our intention to make sections of 6 players composed of one or two players who do not yet have FIDE ratings without compromising the strength of the group. In the event there are not enough FIDE rated players in the lower sections, we will run that section as a swiss.
Round-robin sections of 6 players with similar ratings.
No bye is permitted. Everyone must play all 5 games. Sets are supplied. Please bring your own clock.
Registration: Before April 1st: Those who have a FIDE rating - $40, those with no FIDE rating - $50. Free for Grandmasters and International Masters.
