As an example ... pipeline that benefits Canada too? Perhaps bringing back new billion dollar auto plants? Border security?

      Want me to go on???

By what metric is he a terrible president? Oh I know, by the Bob G., Peter McKillop, Paul Bonham metric. Yeppers, you got me there! He might not ever be canonized.

      This is too much fun!

Which US president has given 1 million dollars of his own money to help those in need???

      Who?

      Class dismissed.
Neil, if you want to give Trump all the credit for what the stock market is doing then, to be fair, you have to allow previous presidents the same credit. Consider the following Dow Jones closings:

      January 20, 2009: 7,949
      January 18, 2013: 13,649
      January 20, 2017: 19,827

So if Obama, using your reasoning, deserves all the credit for increasing the DJIA by a factor of 1.72 during his first term, then shouldn't the DJIA have to increase to (19,827 x 1.72 =) 34,102 before Trump can claim that his first-term economic performance equals Obama's? So, Neil, give us all a shout when the DJIA passes 34,000 so that we can all prepare to act impressed. Until then....

Damn, this stuff sounds pretty familiar. Really makes you think, doesn't it?

I'll just quote this again since I don't think that Neil saw it the first time.

Stacy Lewis just won the LPGA tournament in Portland and donated her $195,000 in prize money to Harvey relief. According to the internet, Stacy's net worth is approx. $10,000,000. If Trump had donated to Harvey relief in the same proportion relative to his net worth as Stacy did, he would have donated $68,500,000. Hopefully what Trump did will encourage a lot of people to help Harvey's victims. Who knows, maybe Trump's donation inspired Stacy Lewis. But "the greatest president of all time" for a donation which didn't cause him much pain financially? Don't think so.

Appealing logically with data to Frarey is a complete waste of time. He's all about branding and selling concepts like Trump is. If Trump sees news that sounds positive he takes credit for it; anything negative it's somebody else's fault. If Frarey can't see that I have to question his ability to think critically about anything.

How much did President Obama personally donate for those in dire need from hurricane Katrina???

              Um, 0$

How much did President Trump personally donate for those in dire need from hurricane Harvey???

              Um, 1,000,000.00$

              Contrast?

But hey at least your kind got to some more typical Obama talking points like:

“I wish I could just write a check.”

Why didn't Obama just do it? Why?

You're done, Peter. Get over it.

              *****

Here's some numbers from your Clinton News Network:

Jobs ... The unemployment rate is 4.3%, a 16-year low. The economy has added more than 1 million jobs since Trump took office.

Stocks ... undeniable win for the president. Fears of a market collapse under Trump have proved to be misguided.

The Dow keeps hitting records and is up 12% this year. Profits for the companies in the S&P 500 are up more than 10% from a year ago.

Seriously Peter, give the guy some credit. CNN does ... or is that just some more fake news?

What part of unemployment 16 year low & Dow hitting record highs ... don't you understand?

This is getting too easy ...next?

Nothing, yet. He has pledged $1,000,000 but has not actually donated a dime yet.
He also pledged $1,000,000 for Hurricane Sandy relief, but donated nothing.

He has a long history of pledging charitable donations for the publicity, but rarely follows up.
Neil, how often are you going to fall for his lies? Seriously, are you so naive?

I will believe his donation for Hurricane Harvey relief when I see it listed on his tax return. :)

To bad Obama didn't have respect for the rule of law. IF that were the case then there would be no DACA illegals.

                              Not so?

How long should an illegal immigrant hide from the law before they force themselves as legal?

                              10 years, 20 years?

What part of the word > illegal < don't you understand? The 'legal' part or the 'il' part?

Many people, including Obama, have compassion for, and wish to help, those less fortunate than themselves. This is an indication of positive character traits that you and your racist, misogynistic, homophobic hero are lacking.
