With 24 hours to go, before the next NAYCC Early Bird ends, we
have already reached our target of 350 paid players registered!!

    https://chess-math.org/content/2019-naycc/players-list

We've prob. overhauled our benchmark, as we have half a dozen unpaid
entries too, not part of the tally. Last 24 hours to get the Early Bird price:

Promises to be an exciting summer in beautiful Kingston!

So we have set a new attendance record for this event!

Today I had our gang from Chess'n Math (Francis, Christian and Omar) do a site inspection since our numbers are larger than what we had expected originally. They were impressed with the playing hall, the residence and the cafeteria. We will be able to handle 450 players but we may have issues with space for the parents. We have made some requests to solve this issue and the University will get back to us shortly. Within 10 days we will be posting specifics about all kinds of stuff on our website. You can go to www.chess-math.org and click on the box that says NAYCC in the lower left hand corner. Pairings, results etc will be appearing there.

If anyone knows any teenaged girls out there who are discouraged by the lack of female players, please tell them about this great event. There are 10 females under 18 coming up from the US (+3 others), but only 1 Canadian entered! Girls under 16 are 6 US, 4 Canadian (+3 others). It would be great to have more Canadian players take advantage of this fide-rated event.

Prices go up on August 1st. I just got 10 more rooms at the University which will become available on Wednesday. Please put yourself on the waiting list as people change their minds all the time.

We have added some info at the Chess'n Math site....please take a look:
