for juniors born after January 1, 1999, with up-to-date CFC membership

Where: St. Timothy Catholic School, 25 Rochelle Crescent, North York, ON M2J 1Y3
Date: Saturday, March 16 to Sunday, March 17
Round Times: March 16 – 10:30, 14:30, 18:30, March 17 – 10:30, 14:30
Time Control: 60 minutes + 30 second increment
Rating: CFC rated for all sections.
Rounds: 5 round Swiss (maximum 2 half point byes, round 1 to 4, requested by March 14.)
Sections:
Top section: CFC 2000+
Reserves A, CFC 1600-1999
Reserves B, CFC 1300-1599
Reserves C, CFC 900-1299
Reserves D, CFC900>
Sections may cancel or combine if less than 8 players. Boys & girls combined. Rating as of March 14. Playing up a section is allowed if within 100 rating points, as of March 14.
FREE Entry for top 3 rated players in the top section, as of March 14*
Entry fee: $70 register by February 24, $80 register by March 14.
**A registration is completed when the payment is received.**
(1) make an e-transfer payment. (2) pay by credit card (3) cash in person.
Tie-breakers:
(1) Head to head and (2) Performance of Opposition
Prize: All top three get a trophy
Bursaries: Entry fee to CJCC or NAYCC or CYCC 2019 as follows:

*Top 3 – registered before February 24 – CFC regular rating as of March 14. $70 will be reimbursed to these 3 players upon successful completion of all rounds.
Players must complete all rounds in CJCC, NAYCC OR CYCC in order to claim the cash bursaries.
