Lenier Dominguez may surprise some (Cuba's number one for many years - now living in the States) but he is probably the most experienced of all the players at high level competition. No surprise that he is tied for second.

Jennifer Yu looks like she is holding a draw in a back and forth game. In the opening she was +3 and then the game turned to -2 and she gave up the exchange to have pressure with two bishops and two connected pawns. If she draws she will be tied with Anna zatonskih for first

Pairings tomorrow are Anna Zatonskih vs Jennifer Yu. If Jennifer wins she has the championship. If she draws she's half a point up in the last round. If Anna wins she's half a point up in the last round. All the others are at least 2 points back.

Lenier Dominguez currently has queen and rook and kingside pawns vs rook, bishop and knight and kingside pawns for Awonder Liang. The computer rates Dominguez position at +10 but I dont think its that easy and he only has three minutes on the clock (+ 30 seconds per move) Still, I think he'll win and if he does he joins Nakamura in the lead.
