  • Kalev Pugi Fund 2020 - Now taking applications!

    Hi all,

I hope everyone is staying safe and healthy. Despite the current situation, the Kalev Pugi fund still has 3 awards of ~$300 and is now taking applications until August 21, 2020.

In order to apply or obtain more information, please follow this link :
    https://www.emailmeform.com/builder/...W2dAff67UMrjug

As a reminder, applications will be based on a past tournament, so anyone under 18 who participated in a major tournament in the past year is eligible. We realize there have been fewer tournaments since March, but are hoping the 8-9 other months of the year were fruitful for everyone!

Please use this form to submit all applications. Applications emailed to the Kalev Pugi committee will not be considered.
We would also appreciate if everyone could forward this link to other potential applicants.

    Best,

    Felix Dumont

    Hi Felix

Thanks for your continued implication with this excellent fund!

Is there a place where I can see a list of youngsters who have received grants from the Kalev Pugi Fund in the past?

If not, can you tell me who benefited from this initiative last year?

      Hi Larry,

It used to be on the CFC website but I don't think it has been maintained / we'll need to see what makes sense with the new website.

There were four winners last year:

      - Svitlana Demchenko
      - Michelle Hua
      - Rohan Talukdar
      - Anthony Atanasov

Once again we received a great number of applications and had the hard task of determining the few finalists! This year again, we will distribute four prizes ($230 each).

The four winners will receive the prize by mail:
        • Ian Zhao
        • Kate Jiang
        • Kevin Zhong
        • Matthew Ivanescu
        Congratulations again to all finalists!
