Can Biden win?

Dilip - I find it very hard to accept that Hillary, despite her flaws and baggage, could ever be worse than Trump is (And almost "was") ......Trump has set back both the nation and the world.......and it will take time to recover....Just my 2 cents.

Agree. In 2016, he was probably the lesser of the two evils, when compared to the nauseatingly 'politically correct' Hillary...

I am no fan of Donald Trump and I am happy that he was defeated. That said:
I think that the U.S. needs to enact some Amendments to their Constitution to prevent another Trump-like situation. Specifically:
1) Tightening eligibility rules for presidential candidates. There is no way someone who has gone bankrupt six times should eligible to run for any electoral office, let alone the top elected position in the free world.
2) Dealing with the avalanche of lies and misleading statements -- clocked by some at over 20,000 -- from Trump while in office -- a recurrence of this has to be stopped.
3) Tightening up the Pardon privilege which the President currently holds. Many think that Trump will pardon himself; this is apparently possible, although it has never been done before. Richard Nixon researched it in 1974 just before he resigned, with published outcome that it is possible. Nixon was pardoned by his successor, Gerald Ford, one month after he resigned.

2. Indirect taxation is much more efficient for all concerned, and unlike what many believe, is just as progressive as direct taxation, because whenever money is earned/saved, it eventually gets spent (or else what would be the point of earning & saving?). There was GST brought on to real estate, but because 'money rules' in politics, huge appreciations in real estate are somehow not being taxed indirectly! Instead of bringing about fairness in GST, what is being hanged over our heads is the specter of wealth tax!

Another Trump lawsuit rejected by a panel of conservative judges, at least one of which Trump himself appointed: https://www.politico.com/news/2020/1...ylvania-440813
You can say whatever you want in a press conference when you don't need to prove any of your claims and there are no real repercussions for anything you say. In reality, it's just rhetoric to appeal to Trump fans, while they didn't even made any allegations of fraud in court because they know that they have no evidence to support it.
