Aimchess US Rapid 2021

The Aimchess US Rapid, the last regular event on the Meltwater Champions Chess Tour, starts on August 28th, before the final takes place a month later from September 25th. Plans are well underway, however, for the next edition of the Tour, with the dates already set for 2022

The first 3 days are prelims in which each player plays round-robin style against the other players (15 games total). The top 8 advance to the finals, which consist of two days of quarterfinals, two days of semifinals and then two days of finals.

Blitz: 5 minutes per player, plus a 3 second increment for every move
