Hi all,
We are excited to kick off the 2021 Kalev Pugi Fund application process. As usual, we will be awarding 3 bursaries of about $300 each.
However, thanks to a new generous donation by the Pugi family, we will also be awarding a new scholarship for women starting this year. The scholarship ($450) will be awarded every year to a different Canadian woman player who has been admitted to a post-secondary institution. Applicants will need to provide a proof of admission and the committee may reserve the right not to award any prize if there are not sufficiently many applicants.
As a reminder, applications for the Kalev Pugi Fund awards (not the scholarship) will be based on a past tournament, so anyone under 18 who participated in a major tournament in the past year is eligible.
Please use the form below to submit all applications. Applications emailed to the Kalev Pugi committee will not be considered.
We would also appreciate if everyone could forward this link to other potential applicants.
