    Exactly ! Chess is very big in India, they had a superstar in the past and now they are producing future superstars at a rapid rate. There is an Indian chess school in the making.
    For instance Ganguly, Sethuraman, Naranayan, Harekrishna and others are all great teachers on chessable. And the last calculation book by Ramesh is outstanding though too difficult for me.

      Also Armenia who had great players in the 60s to 90s with Portish, Adorjan, Ribli, Sax, Almasi etc. had agreat olympiad and this without Aronian. Amazing !

          One oddity (performance wise) is Moldova. How do you explain that?? Have a look at their team. 4 IM's (and one GM) and yet they finished sixth!!
