Nekulturny. You are right. You are a waste of time. Thanks for reminding me.

Chesstalk lost its quality status when Larry Bevand sold it. It's a Sh** show now. The owner does not care and his monitors only want the cash. I agree with Hugh Brodie limit the site to chess I suggest that the site deletes anything that is not chess related. Kerry your post is hitting deaf ears. Maybe it's time to forget about chesstalk and let it die from lack of posts.

(we could save a lot of money, and avoid a lot of drug related toxicity, by simply rationalizing the prescription of expensive medications)
Orthopaedic surgeons are in short supply in Windsor with many retiring or set to retire. Most of the young orthopaedic surgeons were chased away by a similar dynamic where one or two older surgeons got to decide the distribution of operating room time. I lost my eye specialist to Niagara Falls because of the same broken system. Now you have to wait a long time for surgeries and the doctors are going to retire soon meaning that it will be difficult to replace them.
Under PP/PB scenario any nurses hired would be offset by reductions in some other area like emergency doctors or surgeries which would exacerbate the problems of emergency room waits. The government and hospitals see necessary services as a cost centre that needs to be reduced.

You may be right John. Normally the back and forth is not a problem, but this latest garbage from Frarey is way over the limit....Mike Pence: the Lord of the fly.

Is there an infinite number of possible variants using that criteria? That's lateral thinking.

It is a popular notion in kids' heads to grow up to be a superstar athlete .... not so cool to be an engineer or scientist. So should everyone abandon science and engineering in favor of athletics? Well, according to the market, yes, which is a significant factor in the crumbling of Western society.

This is quite amusing. Mr. Drkulec seems to be bemoaning the fact of reduced monies for necessary (medical) services, which is EXACTLY why I am against taxpayer funding for chess.
Then Mr. McKillop, who has a knee-jerk reaction against anything I post (which I believe to be based on a particularly loathsome personal trait he has) and who has told me in this thread to shut the hell up, responds with a bemoaning of taxpayers having less and less say as to where their tax monies are spent.
Mr. McKillop, that is EXACTLY why I am here arguing AGAINST taxpayer monies spent on chess. What % of Ontario taxpayers do you suppose are in favor of taxpayer monies spent on chess? It wouldn't even reach double digits.
Come on, you two, listen to yourselves! You say one thing, then say the exact opposite! And you criticize me for standing up for something that you yourselves are in support of!
Truly unbelievable.

It's already official ... LOOL!
Why? F'n Drkulec's bullshit says so ... that's why!
The Chess Federation of Canada (CFC) is the national governing body for the game & sport of chess in Canada.
What a fucking misleading shithead CFC president Drkulec truly is!
... sport of chess in Canada ...
Feel so sorry for the CFC Exec. ... I do ... under that amount authoritarian bullshit it must be difficult to have an independent voice.
Not unless they too are in lockstep with f'n Drkulec!
Ha!
... sport of chess in Canada ...
... sport of chess in Canada ...
LOL!
Such a fucking hustle ... sorry the once noble Chess Federation of Canada is now being forced to endure Vladimir Drkulec.

I am not sure I could qualify to provide neutral moderation in any case... I'd rather ChessTalk implement a proper ignore option so that I could avoid ever
seeing posts or quoted info from certain people... but that won't happen either....Mike Pence: the Lord of the fly.

Today I received an email asking me to sign the petition that has been raised to recognize Chess as a Sport in Canada...
This email was from Olga Mushtaler (mentioned early in this thread).
For those interested, here is the link to the petition:

I am just the messenger; dial down the flames of reply (or even better: sign it or don't)....Mike Pence: the Lord of the fly.
