Uhh ..... so for those of us, like me, who aren't as adept as Raymond at tracking things down on the net, what tournament are you talking about?

Great to see Casablanca and Morocco hosting this important, strong event, and Canadians both doing well, and having a strong role in organizing it!!!!

I'll permit myself a little historical interlude joke on the city's name. Casablanca is both the title of a 1942 movie (one of the greatest of all time, starring Humphrey Bogart and Ingrid Bergman, with a chess scene, no less!), AND the location of a 1943 meeting during World War II, involving President Roosevelt of the USA and Prime Minister Churchill of the United Kingdom. The Allies had successfully landed nearby to Casablanca, only a few months before this meeting. In the Spanish language, 'Casablanca' means, literally, 'White House'. The Germans had intercepted the Allied message fixing the location of this leaders' meeting ('Casablanca'), and believed it meant 'The White House', in Washington!!!
