    Thanks Hugh.

Svitlana Demchenko won a nice attacking game in round 7.

It was a viscous attack that just kept piling on the pressure. It was great fun to watch.

Shawn won a nice miniature in round 8, sacrificing a knight on g6 and finding his way to the king.

Shawn lost an exciting game in round 9. Svitlana drew. Jonathan Han managed to change the yo-yo pairings by winning in rounds 7 and 8 and drawing in round 9.
          Two games left to go.

Rd 10 Does Shawn have a winning position after move 13? What am I missing?

Another game with recording problems - depending on which site and when you were looking at it Chess24 seemed to have the most accurate gamescore.

I'm sure that all these one line comments are interesting to some, but why doesn't anyone see fit to post a link to the results so the rest of us can add some context?

Round 10 - what a game! Shawn was -4.87 at one point. I think the major turnaround is when Black played 54...Kf4 rather than 54...Kf5. I'm not sure if Kf5 assured the draw, but it looks like Kf4 gave the point to White.
