Sergey Noritsyn's live rating is above 2200. Technical question to Victor Plotkin (or Aris on anyone else) - can he claim the CM title already?

Edit - he did cross 2200 a while ago already - but the question stands for live ratings vs CM title.

Live or interim ratings are good for any title, not only for the CM.

Many players are not interested in CM title at all.

Rd 4 The game Shawn RL vs Nicholas Vettese was on the edge of the chair exciting. Shawn played the discovered attack 26.Ne3 and Nicholas continued the attack with dxe3, after the expected 27.Qxf7+, exf2+ 28.Rxf2 Bd4 29.Bxb7 continuing the attack with Qg3+ had great possibilities. Unfortunately Nicholas played 29....Rf8 allowing Shawn a chance to regroup. As played Shawn retained the extra bishop and survived the attack.

Rd 4 Anthony Atanasov vs Shiyam Thavandiran on board one. Shiyam was up two pawns at the end but the deciding factor was the weakened black king position. Draw.

Rd 4 GM Sambuev vs IM Sai Krishna In a tough defensive position Black blundered with 29...Qh5 allowing the zwischenzug 30.Bg4. Win for GM Sambuev

Rd4 Koosha Jaferian vs Nikolay Noritsyn The cat and mouse play back and forth was interrupted by 26.Qf6 missing g3! with tactical break through. Nice attack by Nikolay.
