      I like how those two players play. Tomashevsky is very technical and methodical, Gashimov is a bit more enterprising, plays exciting chess. These days though, there's so many great young players, it's hard to keep up.

        After two rounds, he's tied for last place in Moscow. That's sure to worry him :)

        There is a certain advantage to being able to play "in the moment", to go into a game with no worries about being upset or looking dumb or underperforming or conserving energy for the next round or positioning yourself in the field or letting down the home fans or giving away your preparation. It's complete Zen.
