Why so many teams (17 open teams, 20 women teams) not paired in Round 1?

Nice finish in the Panjwani game. Perfect but expected result by Canada. 4-0.

Looking who is not paired - most likely troubles with arriving (visas, finances etc)

                Go Canada Go!

I watched most of the last half of the game - awesome pressure by Raja. I think most players from Newfoundland and Labrador will be rooting for Raja a little extra since he used to live here.

                I make a video recap of this one :) - https://youtu.be/4McMHV2bT4c

(wot, no Carlsen) - maybe he is aiming for highest performance ever at Olympiad - so doesnt want to play anyone under 2600.

You like wild - just look at Shawn RL vs JS Christiansen.

The women have mainly closed games this round against Chile - which is not a bad thing.

Most fans like watching Gukesh or Pragga or Vidit. I like watching Erigaisi, his pawn play is almost unbelievable at times.
