Interestingly the Indian contingent are led by Gukesh and Pragga doing extremely well. Erigaisi, especially, Mendonca, and Harikrishna are underperforming. In the Challengers Vaishali and Deshmukh are definitely underperforming.

Rd 11 Pragga dashes any hopes Caruana may have had to win Tata Steel. Caruana owned the white squares but Pragga cracked them anyways. That kid can sure play chess!

With that win Pragga declares his intentions of being there at the finish. He is currently half a point back of Gukesh.

Rd 11 Wei Yi kept up with Gukesh, had a slightly better endgame at one point, and forced the draw.

Rd 11 Giri's playing of opposite colour bishops was all the difference as the white squared bishop proved substantially weaker.

Rd 11 Fedoseev's hopes are also shattered by Mendonca who played a crisp accurate endgame.

                    • Yakubboev played some good knight pyrotechnics and passed pawn mayhem against Oro for the win.

                        • Rd 11 Suleymanli bear Vaishali nicely in the endgame and is currently tied for first but current games still happening could change that.

                          • The astonishing is currently happening in the Challengers in Rd 11. Svane has a winning endgame against the current leader Nguyen and the stubborn defense of Erwin L'Ami has paid off against Lu. He is about to cash in with a win in the endgame.

                            • Its official. Svane has beaten Nguyen. So its up to L'Ami to finish. A win gets him clear first. A draw a tie for first. Go Erwin Go!

                              • Erwin does it. His win against Lu does a role reversal. L'Ami is in clear first with 8. Nguyen is tied for second (with Suleymanli) with 7.5 Close race in the Challengers with Bok and Svane at 7.
