Lahno's been leaving herself open to tactical shots. Fortunately her opponents are not finding them.

Canada's Zach Saine is part of the FIDE commentary with Peter Svidler and Jan Gustafsson. I am not familiar with Zach, but he is self-described as thechessnerd and is an internet content creator.

Rd 3 Sindarov has sacrificed a knight for two pawns against Pragga to create an unbalanced position.

Rd 3 Wei Yi is about to sacrifice a piece against Caruana. He does have Caruana's king in the center. Is it high flying tactics? What does he see. The computer doesnt see it.

Shock of shock. Wei Yi resigns on the spot. He must have miscalculated.

Caruana takes the lead with 2.5 out of 3. Who will join him?

Rd 3 Sindarov has a magnificent nose for tactics! He did an amazingly unclear sacrifice but it became clear that Pragga's king had no safe square. Still the breakthru was awesome to watch! No king hunt but at the end Sindarov was up four pawns!

After three rounds its a two horse race with Caruana and Sindarov and the rest are reeling!
