Re: Montreal - Pere Noel tournament - final results

Great final result and fought to bitter end by a couple of very talented players! No GM draw in this one. As always, the Santa Claus Open is truly an excellent classic Montreal tournament. For only $40 or $50, depending on the section, one can play 5 slow games at the rate of 1 per day. Try finding another open tournament anywhere at that price these days! Well run, centrally located, nice playing hall, all make for a good time to be had by all. I would highly recommend this event to all and have played in it now for three years in a row. Keeps one out of trouble between the holidays, in any event!
