I think they are learning something new every year

As you and your club is in the GTCL area: do you consider to participate in the club competition the next year? If no, why? If yes, what a tournament format would be most suitable for your club. (Other clubs and teams may answer as well :)

This one is the easiest - just go to the meeting :)

          Hi,

It's incredible the nonsense blabbed about in ChessTalk.
If you play chess / participate in chess activities / live in Toronto, come to the GTCL Meeting. If you do not, it's confusing to me why you (the general 'you') care. I don't agree with everything the GTCL is / does. So I go to the meeting and voice my opinions / concerns.

When you leave one of those meetings, do you feel better or worse?

Since they call themselves the GTCL, what have they done for Durham Region? Name a few things.

Durham might be part of EOCL ... I have no idea. Probably GTCL and Durham and EOCL have no idea either (that could be the funniest part)

The Durham Region does not send its representatives to inform about their accomplishments.

The proposed new GTCL constitution named all its regions:
"1.2. The area of GTCL is defined by the Ontario Chess Association, (OCA). It currently defines the Greater Toronto Area for GTCL purposes as being Toronto, York Region, Simcoe Region, Peel Region, Halton Region and Durham Region."

It's 905 area code so is considered part of the Greater Toronto area.
