Hey, this is Chesstalk - there is no value by definition!

Yes Neil, when I think about it, you are correct. I got up in the self-amusing game of trying to remember stuff that, even though it frustrated me, occasionally made me smile.

I will stop adding to this list. Judging from the reactions so far, it seems no harm done.

Ben, that so called "dumbass" was one of the people who passed the FIDE arbiter test, while 50% of the group did not.

Maybe people will take you more seriously when you take and pass the test yourself?

I didn't know that the FIDE Arbiter test is a primary evaluator of an individual's intelligence... please don't be so grumpy, misters. I think that both Frank Dixon and Ben Daswani are very intelligent individuals (although I don't know either of them very well - I know Ben Daswani likes to drink chocolate milk), and that they should both start a paper distribution business together.

so...? passing the fide arbiter test is now the litmus test for intelligence? move over, noam chomsky and demi lovato; frank dixon is gunning for the crown

you should know that i value your advice, though. as someone with a smiley cyrus avatar and an alternatingly capitalised quote from one of her songs, it's clear that my primary goal on chesstalk is BEING TAKEN SERIOUSLY

I would definitely nominate myself but Vlad is really being a pain by avoiding questions and other stall-tactics. Vlad, man up and quit being a wussy.

I liked the part where they use the Bell curve to ensure 50% get a pass.

                            They Bell them up.

I don't recall being any fights on this board, merely a probably futile attempt to correct some of the worst irrationalities on the climate thread.

If "intelligence" is enough to prevent one from being irrational or deluded, shouldn't we all be believing everything Bobby Fischer said?

Things that make people smile definitely have some value.
