The Kingston Open is being organized by Brian Murray and myself, on Queen's Campus, Dec 4-5. The details are below. It is an EOCA grand prix event.

2010 Kingston Open

Place: John Deutsch University Centre, Robert Sutherland Room, Queen's University
Rds: 5
Times: Saturday 9am, 2pm and 7pm. Sunday 10am, 3pm.
Type: Swiss
TC: G/90 + 30s or G/120
EF: $50 at site, $40 if paid by Nov 29th. $20 amateur option (not eligible for prizes) available to all players.
Prizes: CASH - Amount depends on number of entries. Cheques will be sent out on Dec 6th. Prize distribution: Over 1800 - 1st/2nd/3rd place. U1800 - 1st/2nd place.
Reg: 8am-8:45am, CASH only on site, register in person at the Kingston Chess Club, Monday's in November, or register in person at the Queen's University Chess Club, Thursdays in November, or by cheque to Mr. Brian Murray, PO Box 81, Harrowsmith, ON K0H 1V0
Misc: Bring your own clocks. No computers, no smoking. Byes are available rounds 1-4 (maximum of two .5 point byes) if requested in advance. An EOCA Grand Prix Event. Registration for the first round of the tournament ends Dec 4th @ 8:45am sharp. Players arriving after that may register late and receive a .5 point bye in round 1.
