There will be a FIDE-rated tournament at the University of Windsor on Saturday and Sunday the 26th and 27th of February.

There will be 5 rounds (3 on Sat., 2 on Sun.).
    The time control is 90 + 30
    Entry fee is only $30.

Your ad is missing times, rounds, and a list of preregistered masters.

      5 rounds

      Times - Sat: 9:30 AM, 1:30 PM, 5:30 PM
Sun: 9 AM, 1 PM (due to room booking)

      Expected Masters and Experts:

      Zoltan Kiraly - 2248 (FIDE: 2149)
      Istvan Kiraly - 2027 (FIDE: 2107)
      Vlad DrKulec - 2167 (FIDE: 2032)
      Denton Cockburn - 2240 (FIDE: N/A)

The Kiraly's won't be able to play all rounds.
If someone can't play all rounds (and esp. if they are FIDE rated), then we can accomodate that in terms of entry fee and such.

Because of the lack of FIDE tournaments in SW ontario, we don't have a very large pool of FIDE players. My hope is that starting these tournaments will widen the pool, which should in turn lead to more tournaments down here.

        Hi Denton:

I was from Sarnia - nice to see activity in SWO.

        Good luck.
