I was surprised at how large the first list was, published in Chess Chat in 1954. I also found in Chess Chat annual lists for Oct 1955, Sept 1957, Aug 1961, Jul 1962, Jul 64, Jan 66 and regular top/revision lists since then. From my youth, I still have the annual booklets 1971, 1972, 1973. I would love to receive scans of the top player lists in any of the lists I’m missing: 1956, 1958, 1959, 1960, 1963, 1965.

As it was already written: changes or updates (it was called differently the next time I'll make a copy). Anyway I suppose it showed ACTIVE players not only members :D

In one magazine, imho, your name was mentioned - some tournament in Quebec, 1-3 places, and reported by L.Day. (1967-1968 years)

I have never played in an event in Quebec. The report probably confused me with someone with a similar name in that province.

Gerry Rubin still plays - although not in tournaments. The younger players have taken away most of the local chess hustling from him.
