Congratulations to Gary Ruben for posting the most often as he does every year! But number 2 Egidijus Zeromskis almost passed him. The next 6 have increased their contribution. There has been an exciting group of newcomers racing up the list: Aman Hambleton, Vlad Dobrich, Louis Morin, Michael Yip, Jordon Benson, Hal Bond, Paul Bonham and Top Newcomer Jack Maguire.

It might be interesting to devise a list of the best and worst posters on the forum. When this is done for rock bands, it is almost always the case that the same band, The Rolling Stones, wins both categories. Is there any poster herein that might vie for this distinction? :)

I think the best new contributor to this board in 2012 was Jack Maguire of Toronto!

Prize...well...when Eric makes a purchase from CMA...we will gladly contribute the profits from that purchase to Jack :)

It would be too big of a project to compile average number of replies and views per post which would show who's creating action and being followed, rather than just announcements.

Looking at top threads by views show many people following national and local tournaments. There has been conflicts over the CFC/FQE agreement and the CYCC. But not all the best posts create action, such as ones by Nakamura or obituaires. A healthy variety of people have started these most viewed threads. Perhaps Jean Hébert and Andrei Botez have created the most active threads. Hans Jung has surely posted the most games.
