Hello all,

It had been a great weekend at the Chessca Open in Elora. I hope all players had enjoyed the tournament as much I enjoyed organising it. Thank you to everyone who showed up and extended their support. As clich? as it may sound, the tournament would not have been a success without everyone's support, participation, and encouragement.

I would also like to take the opportunity to thank Robert Bzikot for his assistance throughout the event, Mario Moran-Vanegas for being the first to sign-up and volunteering to drive players from Toronto, the OCA for loaning us the chess clocks, William Yuen for encouraging so many of his students to play, Garvin Nunes for actively promoting the event at the Hamilton chess club, Mikhail Egorov for ferrying the HCC members to the event, all parents who brought their children out to play (you are the long-suffering silent heroes!) and many others who supported the event through your kind words and simply by just showing up. Thank you, all!
