  • Échec+ : May-June 2012

The FQE members will very soon receive the May-June Echec+. The analyst masters include IM Renier Castellanos and IM Danny Kopec. Some will also like the Mailbox (rather full this month) and the Book reviews (with 3 books : Chess for the Gifted and Busy, Hébert parle échecs en salle de classe and Alekhine le virtuose des échecs).

    COVER

Motivated by 3 Team-Quebec meetings, the young Zachary Saine wins the U1400 section of the Mauricie Open with a perfect score (5/5).

Is it a long term offer? or Should we act right now?

The FQE would always be glad to support chess across the country, even if there's no FQE rated tournament at a particular place. So the offer would be likely to be still valid in the futur. However, we are making the offer now, so it's the best time to take advantage of it :)
