  • Canadian Forces Chess Championship 2012

    The 2012 Canadian Forces Chess Championship will start next Friday (4-6 May) at the Citadelle of Quebec, Quebec city. There are 27 players registered from 6 Canadian provinces. Paul Leblanc, from Victoria, will be defending his title. The top players will be selected for the 2012 NATO Chess Championship that will be hosted by France in September.

    This championship is open to Canadian Forces personnel (military or civilian, active or retired) and we are still taking registration. Find more info at: http://www.chess.ca/quebec-tournaments or contact cfchess@chess.com.

            yes, former member of the reserve (1 year minimum) can join the tournament.

                No cadets can play. But Officers for the cadets could as they are considered the same as reserve members.
