  • Montreal smoke bomb attack

It's not the 1% that take the metro. http://www.theglobeandmail.com/news/...rticle2428556/

Hope everyone is okay in Montreal. I was going to visit there in June but now I'm not so sure.

Although yes they do live in affluent neighbourhoods in Toronto. I hope this is not the start of things to come. http://www.thestar.com/news/article/...-west-end?bn=1

I'm sure the smoke will clear by June.

The metro was completely paralyzed for about 3 hours today. It didn't help the few students who planned to attend their classes....

This was a very well-planned attack. Bombs were set pretty much every where in the city (including right next to my college).

Sorry to hear that Felix. It's despicable.

As far as I know, it was not the entire metro that was affected. The western parts of the Green and Orange lines were not affected (at least according to the PA announcements I heard a little after 9 am). (since English colleges are/were not on strike (in the west end), why not affect those attending the strike-bound French ones in the eastern part of the city?)

At one point, the entire metro was affected. All the 4 lines were completely shut down. I have friends, coming by the west, who arrived nearly 2 hours late...

This report in the Globe also says all lines were affected. http://www.theglobeandmail.com/news/...rticle2428556/
