  • Chess on TV

    Only in advertisements still.

During the last week I noticed that at least two car companies used chess (briefly) in their advertisements. I think its good for chess too :D

I've seen this a lot recently. Yet another ad with singing by Feist (or at least someone who sounds like her)

Re: Chess in the National Post

Today in the financial section of the National Post chess was used in a column to illustrate how mental agility declines with age. The author looked at the average age of the top ten in the world. By the way, the conclusion is that when we turn 75 we should purchase annuities with our savings because at that age our inability to manage investments makes us a danger to ourselves.
