    Wycc 2012

    Some of the Canadians are already there, some are on their way. All the kids who will represent Canada are great and doesn't matter the result we are so proud of them already

    Slovenia is six hours ahead of EST, so the first round will be 9.00 am EST. I hope "our" games are live.

            WYCC is the second chess tournament as importance after the chess Olympiad!

                    Canada was 11.5-14.5 (plus Harmony's bye) in round 1.

                      I would say that the highlights for round 1 are:

                      1. Urazayev Arystanbek (1918) 0 - 1 IM Wang Richard (2356) - the highest rated player defeated by any Canadians this round)

                      2. WFM Munkhzul Turmunkh 1/2 - 1/2 Zhou Lily - a draw against and Asian U10G Champion

                      3 Wong Yinn Long (1771) 1/2 - 1/2 Doknjas Joshua - a draw against #22 for a non FIDE rated player

                              In Under 14 Open we have players on board 2 and 4:

                              Bd 4: IM Wang Richard 2356 - Santos Ruiz Migue (2082)

                              We have players on board 13 in 16G and 12G:
