    The current issue of Reader's Digest (December-2012) takes an article from ESPN the Magazine by Tim Crothers entitled Smart Moves.

    While the article deals with this young lady, it presents a picture of her playing against Dina Kagramanov. It contains a bit of detail about Dina and a quote from her.

    It just don't have a picture of Dina.

      Most likely the Reader's Digest version of the article included a pic of Dina. Even though the article (that Egid linked to) was kind of short, it was very interesting and touching.

      It is far too easy to forget (on Chesstalk!) that real people play chess and they have stories that are not necessarily related to chess.

        Yes, same story. Dina`s picture added for Canadian content, I assume.
