  • Chess Apps...

There are now many chess apps available for cell phones. A particularly good one I found is iChess 3.0.2 There are more than 1000 tactical problems, all from recent tournaments, divided into 3 categories: normal, advanced and master. Very easy to use, with a clear diagram, this app will give you hours of enjoyment for free!

The one that seems to be popular (at least in Montreal) is the one that simulates a chess clock. You simply press (lightly) on the phone to activate it.

i used Chess Viewer 3.0.2 (iPhone/iPad) from Everyman Chess to view downloaded PGN format from TWIC or similar websites.

      Rated 4 Stars.
