Hi Felix, thanks. I misinterpreted that info as being only during the event, whereas I was looking for how to contact them now. I will try them tomorrow at those coordinates.

Hi Felix, I tried calling that number, no answer, but anyway, it was the site phone number.

How would I contact the Organizer/TD?

Thanks again, and best regards, Aris.

I'm not sure what individuals are responsible for the tournament, but if it's the FQE, you could call their office at (514) 252-3034.

I'm surprised you didn't get an answer. Usually, there is always someone responding. Maybe you called on lunch hours?

Anyway I suggest you try again during office hours, and if you do not get an answer, you could probably get a fast answer by writing them an email.

This year, the tournament is organized by the Loisirs Saint-Henri, so the FQE couldn't help much.

OK Felix, thanks, will try again tomorrow. My call went to government-style voicemail!

Who are the individuals organizing/TD's this year? "Loisirs St-Henri" doesn't tell me much. Last year's event was well run by Danny Goldenberg & Co.

Loisirs St-Henri lends the rooms each year. They organize a couple of CMA tournaments every year and are responsible for Échecs en plein air. I don't know who is the official TD though. J.-P. Grondin, L.-P. Amesse and Alain Boucher are probably involved in the organization.

Yeah, that's more what I would like to know. I expect to be travelling repeatedly these holidays between Montreal, Ottawa, and Toronto, so I was hoping for an actual person I could text from the road, with my estimated arrival time, plans for the next round, etc.

Alain Boucher has been a great collaborator for chess in Montreal. We moved most CMA events to Loisirs St-Henri...and I hear nothing but good comments! Our annual rental with them adds up to just over $3,000 a year...money well spent!

They are our partners...and we love working with them!
