  • The Canadian Game of the Week : Hébert-Laptos

Every week, NM Keith MacKinnon will analyze a Canadian game (very often played by amateurs). For his first analysis, we suggested to him some games from the McGill Open. He decided to chose the very exciting game between IM Jean Hébert and NM Kris Laptos. Kris Laptos then wins $50 for the best game of the tournament.

You can find the analysis here :

We suggest you to take full advantage of the variations tabs that appear next to the board.

If you have suggestions for the next Game of the Week, do not hesitate to send him an email and, who knows, your game might be the next Canadian Game of the Week :)

Also, more games should be analyzed by FM Michael Kleinman this week.

A detailed report with many pictures will be posted soon.
