  • CFC Newsfeed : A busy week

Lots of things are going on this week (besides the usual political trash talk)!
First, I would encourage everyone to follow the exciting Edmonton International festival. The CFC newsfeed published all the information about it and will cover it more this week. This isn't all for the West, as John Upper shows a preview of the next CCN, which features games from the Calgary International. Also, don't miss the BC Girls Chess Foundation launched by Ashley Tapp!

Of course, we also cover events from the rest of Canada, and NM Keith MacKinnon features a nice game between Wajdy Shebetah and WNM Liza Orlova. Be sure not to miss it! Also, for those who had problems viewing the Game of the Week, we are delighted to announce that Shao Hang He from McGill designed a new PGN viewer. It looks very nice and might be useful for those who had compatibility issues with the last PGN viewer.

Raven is studying in political science and wants to concentrate in foreign relations (like his father I think), so it's extremely hard for him to tell in which country he will be living later. So, no switch in sight for now. Still, he is staying in Montreal for at least the duration of his 4 years degree.
