    ... yep, decent man!
    Wait .... isn't Trump pro-life? And aren't you a Trump supporter?

    I don't know what you mean by "no tax increase on income".

    No same-sex marriage ... well, no politician is perfect. But that issue is minor compared to others. Same sex is not the norm, so you want to be not the norm, there's a price to pay until we become more enlightened, and that day could still be coming.

      To balance a budget.

      Also, he voted in favor of lowering taxes to promote economic growth! I personally think that folks such Bezos et al., should not have to pay any tax at all!
      And, McCain believed that federal spending is not the way to promote economic growth.

      Compare that to Biden ... who's trying to buy as many votes as possible, ha!

      ...hold all members to the standard that John McCain upheld.
      I thought Trump's comments about McCain as a prisoner of war were irrelevant as to the character of the man.

      • Donald Trump 'State of Play', as of May 27, 2023:

        1) Improperly held National Security-related documents case, from Mar-A-Lago: Federal: Looks worse for Trump than originally believed, due to statements made by members of his team which have now been shown as lies;
        2) Georgia-based electoral interference on 2020 presidential election: Georgia state prosecutor says that if charges are coming, they could arrive by early July, 2023;
        3) Case of Washington Capitol Riot of Jan. 6 2021: Federal: Nothing announced specific to Trump as of yet, but jail sentences continue to be levied on riot participants; now several hundred;
        4) New York City / Manhattan prosecutor, on mistresses / election cover-ups: Trial date set for April 2024, a year after indictments, for over 30 felony charges;
        5) New York State prosecutor's $250 million lawsuit over corrupt business practices: investigation continues, case has no trial date announced as of yet.

        Ron DeSantis, Governor of Florida, is gearing up to battle Trump for the MAGA portion of the Republican vote. This will get exceptionally nasty, but Trump has made a lot of enemies.

            • Federal felony indictments against Donald Trump and others could be approaching in the so-called 'Documents Case', according to multiple online and print sources today.

              Recently, the New York Times published news of a second federal Grand Jury for the case, operating from Miami. The Grand Jury in Washington, in operation for several months, handling the case, has apparently paused its work. Both are under the direction of Special Counsel Jack Smith, appointed by the Department of Justice.

              The 'Documents Case' involves dozens of high security federal documents, which were improperly in Trump's possession after he left office as president on Jan. 20, 2021. Further sets of documents were found last summer, when the FBI raided Trump's compound Mar-a-Lago in Palm Beach, Florida; this was after Trump and his lawyers said they had turned over all they had to the National Archives and other supervisory organizations.

              Charges could be announced from Miami, from Washington, or possibly both.

              Big names, such as former Vice-President Mike Pence and former New Jersey Governor Chris Christie, have recently joined the growing roster of hopefuls for the 2024 Republican presidential nomination.

              • Trump was arraigned in Miami yesterday on 30+ federal charges, following indictments last week, brought forth by Special Counsel Jack Smith. Trump also celebrated his 77th birthday, with some more exceptionally pungent remarks about his situation. The USA has rarely, if EVER, seen invective like this from such a prominent politician. President Harry Truman was called a traitor by some prominent Republicans in the early 1950s (over the dismissal of General Douglas MacArthur in 1951, who over-reached in the Korean War, disobeying Truman and U.S. allies), but nothing significant came from that accusation, and Truman served nearly eight years as president, before deciding not to run again in 1952, at age 68. Truman is ranked in the top ten of American presidents by most modern historians.

                Trump is making it ever tougher for fellow Republicans to continue supporting him. A crisis is approaching on that front. Look for Chris Christie, now a presidential candidate, to start scoring points against him. Christie, a longtime Trump supporter, claims he will be critical of Trump; he is a moderate Republican by current standards. He is quite prominent, with a solid track record as a federal prosecutor and state governor, and relatively scandal-free personal history.

                Trump could go for the 'Indictment Trifecta', if and when the state of Georgia brings charges on election fraud (expected as soon as July). Trump already has groups of district (Manhattan D.A.) and federal indictments.

                The Manhattan 'mistresses' trial is set for April, 2024. My guess is that the Miami cases will be heard BEFORE that.

                • Sad to read those who so desperately rely on Trump ... to fill that deep negative void of your beaten down unfulfilled life ... sigh.

                  Prop your empty self up ... by all Trump means.

                  Seriously ... get past that.

                  You need help.

                  • Former president Donald Trump has apparently been federally indicted in Washington, D.C., in the January 6th, 2001 attempted coup / election overturn attempt / fraud matters, as of a few minutes ago, according to cnn.com. I write 'apparently', since the indictment is sealed, with the details to be announced soon. Trump himself has posted about this on his website, as of a few minutes ago. This trial would take place in Washington. Hundreds of others have already faced proceedings in these matters, with further investigations still continuing.

                    Also, the New York State Attorney General, Letitia James, announced that her office's investigation of the Trump Organization, on a $250 million lawsuit, is now ready for trial, also according to cnn.com and nbcnews.com. If successful, this could close down the Trump Organization's business operations in that state. Donald Trump, Donald Trump Jr., Eric Trump, Ivanka Trump, and possibly Jared Kushner, are all defendants, apparently. This trial would take place in New York state, location and dates to be announced.

                    Also in New York City, Trump Sr. has had to post $5.5 million in security over his lost sexual assault / defamation lawsuit with columnist E. Jean Carroll, according to the New York Times. He is appealing that decision. She is suing him again, over renewed defamation; that trial is set for January, 2024, in New York City.

                    Also, federal Special Counsel Jack Smith last week announced additional charges on the 'documents' case, over apparent conspiracy to delete video evidence from Trump's home in Palm Beach. That trial would take place in Miami, with dates yet to be finalized.

                    There is more, but life is short!!!

                      Hi Frank,
                      Can you (or anyone else who wishes to) point out whom and in what way, did orange Donny-boy really hurt? That would clarify what the charges would be in a truly Libertarian Court of Law...

                        LOL .... the sitting POTUS violates the U.S. Constitution, and the Libertarian demands to know "Awwww, come on, who did he realy hurt and it what specific ways?"

                        Imagine the number of lawyers all jockeying for roles in THAT investigation!

                        Looks to me like LIbertarianism wants to replace politicians with lawyers.

                        Maybe the party should be called the Lawyertarian Party.
